Japanese Gardens

Mom, Libby and I went to the Japanese Gardens in Sioux Falls for a photo shoot yesterday. I'm not totally done editing, but I decided to put up a few shots anyway. Enjoy!

WOW, you have some AWESOME shots here!!!! I think my favs are the 3rd one, and the last 2. Don't tell her this, but she's gonna be a real BABE someday... :)

Sorry. I had to rearrange. Looks like you have to comment again! =P

Absolutely awesome! Ohhhh... how to pick a favorite. Libby is looking over my shoulder and says that the closeup if her in the blue dress is her "Absolute favoritest".

Okay, now it's the 4th one and the last 2. :)

Daniel these are really awesome.

And yeah, I agree with Rachel...{[on the whole babe thing]} (:

Yep. I did comment already. But because you were complaining I never commented..I'm doing it again.

You're welcome. (:

Thanks! I guess I wasn't keeping up as well as I thought.

Wow! I really like the close up in the blue outfit too!

So, where are the Japanese gardens?

Aww!! the 1st, 5th and 7th are my favorites!!
I love the depth of the 1st! When i edit pics, lots of times it ends up looking flat, and it bothers me to no end.
In the 5th, its just too good not to be a favorite!! :D
And the 7th, is such a 'Libby pose!' It really shows her personality.

Your sister is adorable :)

(is that a good enough comment? :P)

@Cynthia

It wraps around the west side of Covell Lake in SF. It's a really good place for photography.

Thanks for the comment!

@Katrina
Thanks for your comment as well! That's quite adequate. ;)

I was gonna say, Have Hannah or some other person at your house with a Facebook show you the pics i took and edited of Anika, she's got 'em up.

I have more than that but i've not edited them yet, and some she just didn't put up.

Ya gotta tell me what 'The Expert' thinks. :P

@Katrina
Nice! I just had Hannah show me your photos today. You're doing a great job! I especially like the one by the fence. Good colors and depth. I'd love to see more.

Absolutely beautiful! I think I like the first, fourth, and seventh the best - oh, and by the way, thanks for helping with our "betrothal" pictures as well...I didn't mention you in the blog post b/c Hannah did most of them, but I didn't forget about you:)

Daniel September 29, 2009 at 9:37 AM

You're welcome! Hannah did a nice job with those. You should set one as your profile!

Meg September 30, 2009 at 10:33 PM

For just starting out you take great pictures.

Yay!! i'm so excited now! :)
those were some of my favorite ones too. :)

Now all i have to do is convince Cynthia to let me have her camera... *.muahahaa.*

i know we edit with WAY different things, but what could i do better?

@Megan
Well, I'm not a pro, but I've been doing it for about 3 1/2 years. Thanks for commenting!

@Katrina
If you want to talk photography, you can burn a disc and bring some of your favorite shots to church. I can pull them up on my laptop.

Unknown October 6, 2009 at 2:32 PM

That would be so awesome!!
Would i burn the ones i edited and the originals? or both?

You have no idea how excited i am now... :)

I'll try and do that. :) i'm not sure how to burn cd's but i think Cynthia knows how. :)

Daniel October 7, 2009 at 7:26 PM

You can burn originals and edits. That might make it easier. I hope you can get it workout out!

I'll be looking forward to it. ;)

Unknown October 7, 2009 at 8:15 PM

I went through the ones i took, and picked my favorites (basically the good ones.) and i'm probably going to get Cynthia to help me burn them tomorrow. :)

Me either!! :)
