Ben and Abby (behind the scenes)

I had an awesome time working with Ben and Abby this weekend. Thanks to all the people who made these shots rock!

Setting up the shot

Fall in summer

Ben got to climb down a 30 foot muddy slope wearing his one size fits all armor... and then back up again...

Testing my light before we burn the place down

Huge thanks to our effects guy, Isaac

This is the "studio" where I do virtually all my indoor photography. The lights are set up for Abby's portrait.

Turner County Fair

The fair just ended yesterday, so I took a few shots to put up for those of you who couldn't make it. We've been entering photography in the Turner County Fair in Parker for several years now, but this year and last our family won the best of show in all three categories of the open class. Enjoy!
This is my purple ribbon in the professional class (Hannah won this last year).
These are a few of my entries that happened to all be lined up.
This is Hannah's purple in the adult class.
And this is Abby's purple in the junior class.

If we get a pic of the three of us with the ribbons I'll try to post it too.

Fairy Tales Don't Always End Well

And this one ended with a dead battery about 15 minutes after I started. But it was a good shoot while it lasted! Maybe I'll remember to bring the extra next time.
